“ Been here a few times with family. Excellent local Sichuan restaurant. Modern decor with comfortable seating. Has all the well known Sichuan dishes and does them well at a reasonable price. Stand out dish for me is steamed chicken with chilli sauce (the entree). Would also recommend mung bean jelly with chilli sauce, twice cooked pork slices, beef or fish in hot chilli oil, cumin dishes, deep fried pork ribs with garlic. Tried the deep fried rice cake with brown sugar the last time I was there - really excellent, would recommend and order again (though sweet and rich, so leave room). Make sure you order to your own spice & fatty foods tolerance. Would also recommend ordering a vegetable dish as well. I prefer the cabbage to the potato slices. ”

“ Clean and organized place. The food was yummy. I liked the stir fried tofu with chili sauce and the cauliflower. I also liked how they decorate their shop with cute wall arts. The staffs there were friendly and attentive with warm smile. Recommend! ”

“ Had lunch here this Monday and it was my first time dining in Southport. The waitress was pretty cheerful and helpful although as the only one front-of-house staff she was very busy; however, the restaurant is not big. Ordered Spicy beef stomach, Steamed chicken with chili sauce, and Steamed rice. To be honest, the quantities of food were not too small, and the taste was not too bad, but there were still some problems. The chef was quite careless while chopping the chicken, some pieces were twice as thick as the others; the beef stomach was overcooked and too chewy. The staff is friendly and there is a loo in the small restaurant, which is very convenient. ”

“ One of my go to Chinese restaurants on the coast. I’ve been to this place many times and food quality has been relatively consistent. Service is efficient, staff are great and friendly, very accommodating. Ordering is through the app and prices are typically reasonable and quite generous servings. It’s a plus if you can handle spicy like a real man. No, really… the higher your tolerance, the more you will enjoy the dishes. Here are my recommendations (not in any particular order): 1. Boneless spicy chicken (extra spicy - yep, trust me it’s not as spicy and numbing) 2. Sweet and sour pork (not your typical takeaway - it’s really good!) 3. Beef with rattan pepper (extra spicy - read point 1 above) 4. Special spicy grilled barramundi (extra spicy, need I say more? Feel free to add some extras in the soup as you see fit) 5. Sour and spicy shredded potato 6. Griddled cauliflower 7. Beef black pepper hot plate 8. Stir fried tofu ”

“ Very fresh and tasty food. Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Fried rice was loaded with prawns, honey chicken was crispy and nicely battered, and the Dan Dan noodle bowl was a very generous serving size. ”
